Carefully selected microorganisms to reduce the presence of ammonia, accelerate the decomposition of poultry and rabbit organic materials, transforming them into high-quality fertilizer.

Despite the use of the most sophisticated technologies for disinfection and improved manure and slurry management, emissions of harmful and malodorous gases, as well as health risks, persist. One probable reason for these issues likely lies in the high concentration of animals in confined spaces, creating an oxygen deficit due to a significant accumulation of animal excrement, thereby putting microbiology under considerable pressure.

This leads to disruptions in metabolic reactions that produce undesirable gases such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, etc. These gases are not only malodorous but also pose a danger to the health of humans and animals. They have an impact on the environment and can significantly influence the overall productivity of the operation. In animals and humans, high concentrations of ammonia (NH3) in livestock can cause irritation to pulmonary and ocular membranes and disrupt intestinal flora.

The Kopros® C range comprises microorganisms naturally present in soils, specially selected for poultry and rabbit farming. Kopros® C triggers and accelerates the processes of transforming poultry and rabbit excrement.

How does Kopros® work?

The microorganisms applied directly to the bedding or pits stimulate the activity of the native microbiology, accelerating the processes of humification and nitrification (composting process) to drastically reduce emissions of ammonia and other harmful gases.

Is Kopros® suitable for all types of livestock?
